I don't know Rick, or his podcast.
Can you point me and other interested people to it?
If you do figure out what's up, please let me know. It isn't the end of the
world by any means, but it sure is annoying.

Michael

I've always had this same probelm and still haven't worked it out although I

know Rick managed to do it on one of his podcasts once, all be it sounding a

bit fiddly.

Subject: jaws and the weather gadget on vista's sidebar

I am trying to use the weather gadget with the windows sidebar.

By default, the weather comes up for Washington.

If I click the "weather button" then shift f10, I get into the options. I
can type in the city I want, and hit "search." When I do this, I see the
city name has changed to "Minneapolis, MN" I have tried "New Brighton,"
and
when I did that, a listbox appeared, from which I was able to select "New
Brighton, MN." Again, I saw the option select properly because the name of
the city for which the weather is being retrieved appears at the top of
the
options page.

I can select celcius, or farenheight. I tab to OKAY, and click it, but my
settings don't seem to save.
I am using jaws 9.0.519. I know people have used this with previous
versions of jaws, but has anyone successfully changed the city for which
the
weather is presented using jaws nine? If so, any ideas where I could be
going wrong?
Thanks
Michael Malver
