Well, I'd have to ask my computer maker, del about that one, MCAfe comes with
this computer so I'd have to see. When things aren't free, it makes it hard to
fix. So now, I need some kind of work around. So if you know of any work
arounds for this product, let me know.

Hi Sean. Mcafee doesn't play nice with anything as far as I'm concerned. =
Why not switch to Norton or some other client? I really like Norton. =
It's slow but seems to get the job done.

Subject: jaws and mcAfe don't play nicely when you try to install jaws

Maybe I should ammend that. MCAfe with jaws at first just plain f... =
sx. When
I tried to install jaws, McAfe internet security apparently put up some =
kind of
a dialog that jaws crashed on. Bring it up with Narator let me see =
there was a
dialog but I could do nothing with it. I had to completely remove the =
internet
security/firewall/antivirus and repare jaws to get jaws to speak again. =
If
anyone wants to try doing add/remove programs with Narator, good luck =
buddy. It
requires a lot of alt-tabbing, then tabbing, then alt-tabbing then maybe =
if
you're lucky you'll get focus on the removal program. There is a =
question for
all this ranting. Now that jaws works, Will I be able to use MCAfe? =
Are there
any tricks I should be aware of for this program? My final rant, put =
pressure
on del so that you don't have to go through the setup without voice. =
It's
ludicris that there is no cancel option on any of the initial steps that =
would
allow one to setup a screen reader. Other jaws and laptop related =
messages will
follow after this one.
Thanks for hearing me out
Sean
