Go to this site HYPERLINK
"http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/"http://www.apple.com/quicktime/dow
nload/ you may have to have Quicktime installed in order to use the embedded
Audio file. This download is free and will allow you to listen to Quicktime
audio and movie files. You can not download the audio file you want to
listen to unless you purchase the Professional version of Quicktime. Once
you have installed Quicktime go back to HYPERLINK
"http://www.charleston.net/audioclips/44/"911 call from 5-year-old Tyrone
Burden and see if you have better luck.

Hello Eric,

I have try to get the audio clip
from the newspaper ,it's say Audio files on Charleston.net are in MP3
format. You may need to download additional software to your computer to be
able
to play MP3 files correctly. Can you help me with this situation? I will
appreciated with any answer from you . I still keep getting the same result
and I don't know why you didn't get the same result that I'm getting and Don
too. I press insert f7 for link for link view and don't hear nothing where
I can press enter on it to download the audio file . I think you need to
check that again, unless you have something in your computer different from
mine.

1. I went to this web page HYPERLINK
"http://www.charleston.net/news/2008/apr/05/boys_call_helps_mom_but_slows_em
s36197/"http://www.charleston.net/news/2008/apr/05/boys_call_helps_mom_but_s
lows_ems36197/ and scrolled down to “Audio clip

HYPERLINK "http://www.charleston.net/audioclips/44/"911 call from 5-year-old
Tyrone Burden” and clicked the link.

2.I get a message from my Quicktime player I have loaded on my computer
asking if I want to change file associations. I click NO.

3.After I click NO the page loads and the embedded Quicktime player is know
available you, can now press the space bar or press Enter on your keyboard
to activate the player.

4.The audio doesn’t play by default so you have to interact with the
Quicktime player and push play. I’m not sure of all of the JAWS commands to
do all of this.

I want to that web site and found the link for the audio file. When you
click on the link it takes you to a web page that has an embedded Quicktime
audio player. You have to click play on the player to hear the audio file.
In order to download the audio file you have to have Quicktime Pro installed
on your computer.

Maybe someone else can get it and help us.

Hi Addison, chances are your computer came with one, Windows Media Player. I
think from about Windows ME this programme came preinstalled and thus you
were able to play MP3's and many other audio/video files out of the box.
However, if you don't like Windows Media Player, then you can go to
HYPERLINK "http://www.winamp.com"www.winamp.com and download a copy of
Winamp. You could also go to HYPERLINK
"http://www.vuplayer.com"www.vuplayer.com and download their free and very
accessible player, simply called VuPlayer. Hope that helps.
