jaws 7.1 not reading subjectline

hi
using version 7.1, i find that jaws is not reading the subjectline when
replying emails on OE. is this a typical behaviour of jaws 7.1?
any fixes please.
currently, i have to highlight the text to read it before editing it should
i need to change the subjectline.
