Microsoft has already given us about as much attention as their economics is going to allow.

Additionally, if they actually put a screen reader into the operating system that did everything jaws does, they'd be running some companies out of business. They already have a bad reputation for kicking the little guys around, and they just aren't going to add to that.

I'd be happy if they put more focus on security and eliminating spam.

You know there might be a way that the next generation of windows could have a built in screen reader other than narorator.
That one would likely not freeze all the time and it is likely or should i say assured that it is better than narorator.

JAWS, with windows? I wish Windows came pre-bundled with JAWS, but unfortunately, it doesn't. *smile*

I've had the problem that when I reboot Jaws does not speak. I'm told that
all the icons are on the task bar and desk top and even someone clicking on
them with a mouse does not help. So, I reboot, and reboot etc until I hear
those magic words, "Jaws with windows is ready". I never had these problems
before jaws 7. Judith
