Thanks.  that's kinda cute.  Not exactly intuitive, but I guess blind 
product companies don't have staffs or departments skilled in thinking up 
brand names that actually work at several levels in order to both imply 
clearly what the product is, and what it does, as well as make it sound 
fetching and desirable.  I never would have guessedthat "artic" was meant to 
be an abbreviation for "articulate," even after being told it was a synth.

Before someone flames me, let me say that I worked for years as a corporate 
communications public relations and marketing writer specializing in this 
sort of thing.So I'm only making an interested observation about the word, 
not denigrating the company or anything else personal.  Just someone with a 
professional investment in language.
