?Go with Avast. They have a free version. It's great! I don't have any virus,spyware, malware or anything like it. In fact, you can scheduled a boot uup scan. What that means is that when you next turn your computer on, avast will load before your OS or any other program including viruses and it will scan your computer while it loads. It is great. But be whare. It takes a long, long, long time. So make sure you are not going to use your computer when you do that.

Just go with eset nod 32 antivirus or even Eset security suite you can tryeither before you buythe vendor give you're a 30 trial, and with that onewhich I have been using for over 10 years now , I have never had a virus or spyware, it does the best job and it has a small footprint as far as systemresources.
