Re: internal or external memory

I would say it depends on what you want to do.  For music and other
relatively large files where the initial load time isn't really all
that important I would say there are huge benefits to an external
drive, especially if you also use it to perform backups.  (This is in
fact what I do, I bought a 1.5tb external and have been ripping my
collection of computer CDs).

I would not want to use an external drive for lots of small files
where load time is important, or for my system drive, the performance
hit is simply too great for that to be viable yet.

The convenience of not having to open up the case and find a path
through the cable maze is just a bonus.  Plus, an internal drive would
probably trigger JAWS' hardware signature change logic and require a
re-authorization.
