Ah, I'm actualy quite interested to hear that. I find it really annoying because I just want it to just read the message, not the rest of the info before it.

Thanks

Peter

HI all
This is not a problem I'm having as such, its just something that
interests me. When I'm in Microsoft outlook and I press insert+v for
the verbosity dialogue there's an option: read messages automatically.
If I select that option jaws will automatically read a message once I
press enter to open it. My question is: does jaws make use of say all
when it reads a message the moment I'm opening it? In other words the
moment I press enter to open a message and the setting for read
messages automatically has been turned on, does jaws invoke the say all
script at that moment when I open a message?
I have found that when this setting is on jaws first reads the title of
the message.It will say:
jean asner re help with recorder read only edit.
Then it will read the message. So what I have done to eliminate this:
I went into the configuration manager and into the verbosity dialogue.
Alt+s followed by v.
I have turned off the options for read document
name and read control type.
Now if I press enter jaws only reads the message without reading the
title bar plus saying read only edit.
Its just something in outlook I wanted to share with you--
