If you group message by conversation, go to view, and uncheck group message
by conversation and then go back to the folder and you will see the message
that

Subject: ghost messages
I am using Jaws 7 and 8, XP, and outlook Express 6. When I arrow to my
different mail lists for example in box. jaws will say in some of the boxes
one message or 2 messages when there isn't any. This has been going on for a
few months. Any suggestions on why or how to fix this are welcomed.
