Hi,

Well, if you are talking about ". original was 64-bit. <' do you mean that
Vista was 64-bit too? That would make matters worse. It would be costly to
purchase a 32-bit Win7 when you already have license for 64-bit (although
you can use 32 or 64-bit JAWS depending on the OS), weight issues must be
addressed if the solution turns out to be transport of the Braillex
equipment with you from work to home and so forth.

Since you are on the HW list, why don't we do a collaboration action there
(concerning BrailleNote and JAWS under 64-bit) to get a word from HW
regarding support for JAWS under 64-bit OS?

Hope your problem gets resolved soon.

Cheers,

Joseph

Subject: getting screwed by fs

I read all the messages about windows 7. The reason
I didn't install the 32 bit is that the one I have is 64 bit. Nothing I can
do about that. Other problem is that I am using the braillex at work and
need either the alva or the braillenote to use with this laptop at home
