She could check to see what is checked under the view menu. List needs to be
the item
that says checked, so if something like large icons is checked, she can arrow
down
and find the option that says list and enter on that to check it instead.

Subject: friend cannot read full list view

My friend has just purchased a new computer and is having trouble reading
entire lists of items--everything from her complete list of songs in music
folder to entire list of documents from an MP3. I suggested she go into
folder options and make sure they were set to classic and she says they are.
Should I have her check something else, like one of her settings on view
page of folder options? She's running XP home and a jaws 4.51 demo until
she can get a jaws 4.5 authorization disc. Thanks for any suggestions.
