It's better to hit control+shift+escape. If the classic logon screen is
used, a security dialog will pop up. This way, the dialog is avoided. Also,
it's helpful to know the name of the process you want to terminate. For
example: If you haven't ever used the task manager or you left it on some
other tab, it's good to switch to the processes tab when JAWS is working.
Then all you'd have to do is hit control+shift+escape, wait a few seconds
for the task manager to load, and type jfw. Hit alt+e, and that process
should be terminated. I should mention that you should type at least a
letter a second, or it won't work.
