follow up on multiple crashes

after keeping an eye on what was being said on the matter of multiple crashes i
have a simple question - it was said that u could completely empty the temp and
cookies folders to give some more hard drive space and in theory that is fine
but in my case i have tried this and found that it not only deletes the
unwanted files but also the passwords and usernames for my internet connection,
.net passport etc...does anyone have any ideas how i can get it to delete only
the unwanted junk? thanks in advance. stephen
