RHnks for the info. i did find the 3.6 download through mozilla but it sure
wasn't easy to find. they really want people to use 4.0. it seems to be
faster but many more problems arise with it. i'm also seeing that folks using
jaws 12 are having some issues with it.

A fairly good site to get old versions of firefox is

and, the direct page for downloading the 3.617 version is
http://www.oldapps.com/firefox.php?old_firefox=115?download
look for a graphic labled download firefox, and press enter on it. It
should then open a save dialog box. The link to download ff will also appear in
the list of links, using the insert f7 key. Press D till it says download
firefox.
