Guess what? It is now working.

I have been trying for the past 3 days to get this working with NO success.
Now, since I have sent reports to Freedom scientific it decides to work.
The only change is deleting JSI files from earlier versions and now it
works.

Thank you for your response!

I have had no problem setting row and column headings for a pre-existing
spread sheet.
I marked the heading rows and columns in the way I have always done.

What exactly are you experiencing when you attempt to set headings in a
pre-existing spreadsheet?

As I stated earlier, I can not set up row & column title reading with Jaws 8
for excel.
Here is what I think the problem is.

If I start with a new database, there is no problem with 8. However, if
using an existing database, which was set up using Jaws 7, there is no way.

My conclusion. 8 is messing up forcing me to use 7.1 or earlier.

I already talked to Jaws and they were no help. following there instruction;
which was to read the updated Daisy training material, which did not answer
my problem at all, I'll contact them again.
