Got it to work. Gary's reply led me to try various JAWS keys and I
discovered that Jaws sees these as graphic so Ins + Z to switch on
accelerator keys the G to cycle through graphics. Once at spreadsheet Jaws
tells you that it's an embedded spreadsheet. To select its simply Shift +
right arrow and right click gives you the context menu which inculdes an
option "linked worksheet object" with sub-option "open link".
Quickest route is simply on arrow down to spreadsheet, select it by shift +
right arrow then bring up context menu by right-click button (or by shift +
f10) and then from context menu choose "linked worksheet object" with
sub-option "open link".
That's great.

Carol,
Try bringing up a list of links in MS Word with JAWS Key+F7, just as you
would in a browser, and press Enter on the link. That worked for me when I
put a link in Word to a spreadsheet on my computer.
