Hi Stacey,
I use this program called E cleaner . It can be found at:
www.jfwlite.com/programs
It will be recognized as:
E cleaner Home Page
eCleaner Download
Remove all headers and greater than signs from messages.
It says not recommended for Windows XP, but I've been using it with Windows
XP Pro for over 3 years with no problems. It will remove all the greater
signs and headers and will also put the paragraphs back together ( make it
so there isn't just two or three words per line, which happens after several
greater signs are added ). When installing it choose not to have an icon
installed on the desk top, rather after installing go to all programs and
find the program and enter on it and locate E cleaner and send that choice
to your desk top ( the send to desk top choice, not send to desk top create
short cut ). To use it:
1. Press control plus the letter A, then control plus the letter c to copy
the entire e mail to the clip board.
2. Go to your desk top and enter on the E Cleaner Icon.
3. Hit the alt key and arrow right over to clean text.
There you will find four options under that heading. I do the greater signs
first, then remove headers next and last clean text (You have to hit enter
on each option and then go back to the tool bar and back down the list to do
the next selection ). I've used both of the programs mentioned to you, but
find this one the best. In Text Monkey I do enjoy the monkey sounding off
when cleaning. Hope this is a bit helpful.
   Brian
