Hi,
It's all in the messages you must not have read yet. Maybe you're behind
because of the holiday? About three of us have presented the instructions.
But here you go:

1. The email address is wsmith@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

2. To get an email containing one or more definitions for a single word, send
a blank email to that address with the command "define" and the word you
want defined in the subject line, like this:

define difficult

3. If you want a synonym from its thesaurus program, put in the subject
line:

synonym difficult

If you read on, you'll find people discussing whether or not they like the
definitions provided by this service. But try it out and see if it suits
you.

Hope this helps. happy New Year.

Anyway, here it is

Hello

How does one get in contact with this e-mail dictionary so I can also send
e-mails to find out definitions of different words? If someone can please
let me know, I would be much appreciative. Thanks.

Hi Linda,

No, I don't know what you just read, but what it's supposed to mean is
that
you send a blank email, in whose subject line you type the command
"define,"
without the quotes, of course, then a space, then the word you want to see
a
definition for.

Example: define harmony

See? It's just a typical type of command you send to a listserv or
something of that sort. First comes the request for what action you want
performed (define), then a space, then the word you want defined.

Then, without typing anything in the message area, just send the message.

Hope this helps. Happy New year.

Hi,

I'm a bit confused on how to use this. You type the word in the subject
and
it tells you "define" and then space. So does this mean I type the word
I'm
looking for and then just space?

Hi

I have tried this e-mail dictionary. It works well. No Jaws problems.

Thanks for the "info"
