There are at least two (and perhaps more) ways: 1. If you just want to check a few places, put your cursor on the suspect text and press insert-F to read out the font information. You will get the attribuses ,e.g., bold, underline, italics. 2. Turn on attribute reading with Insert-V. Arrow down, to "attributes," press "space bar" to toggle on attribute reading, and hit ENTER.
