dvd & mp3 downloading software

Hi all I was wondering if someone out there could recommend a program which
works good with JFW 6.0 for downloading dvd's and mp3's. I was using winmix
but since I changed my version of JFW to 6.0 the scripts I had for JFW 5.0 no
longer work. Besides I think there may bbe better programs out there besides
winmix.
