        Hi guys
The subject line might be a little weird, but I'll explain. I need to
authorize jaws on my system after a reformat and the machine I'm installing
it on has an Asus motherboard. Before I had the hard drives replaced it
seemed to work ok, but when the company I got it from sent it back to me I
had a problem authorizing JAWS. The authorization disc just kept spinning
and spinning in the drive and no authorization could be found despite the
fact that I knew the disc was good. Anyways, a quick check of the FS Tech
support index indicates that the minnie disc driver for the Asus
motherboards needs to be disabled in order for the authorization key to
work. I'm guessing that's what's keeping me from being able to get the key
onto the drive, so could someone tell me where exactly I can disable this
driver? The TSN says that I should locate my installer cd for the
motherboard, which I did. the minnie disc driver wasn't on there as far as
I could see and there was no way to remove certain drivers via the CD. I
also suspect something could've happen with my disc drive. Basically what
it all boils down to is after getting my computer back from the shop I'm
still not able to install the auth key even after getting a replacement
auth disc from FS. Does anyone hav any ideas about how I can fix this?
Also note that I've disabled Norton Auto protect as well which I know keeps
authorization keys from being installed. any help would be *greatly*
appreciated!
Thanks.
