John,
Well holding the alt key down, press the letter V and then let up all the keys and press the letter L and that aught to do the same thing only in a different way. Hope this helps.

Tippy: How do I get to the tool bar, I assume you mean shift tab; however,
once I'm on the tool bar Jaws doesn't read anything. Thanks

Go to the tool bar and under view click on list and this will make things
appear in a list and will be a permanent fix.
