Hi Joann:
Using XP with 6.0 or 6.1 you have to set your receive messages in outlook
express to "html" in order for the delete key to work like it did in older
versions.

Subject: delete key not working with o.e. in plain text

Would like your opinions as to whether I may need to do an o.e. repair. I
have talked to F.S. and have done a jaws repair (using 6.0 and XP home), and
the jaws repair did help a little. But I still don't like the way o.e. mail
is being read in 6.0 and 6.10 as opposed to earlier versions. It does help
to set verbosity to advanced when reading in HTML; does seem to stop jaws
from continuing to speak after deleting. But the other thing I've noticed
is that in plain text I can't hit the delete key while the message is opened
as I could in earlier versions of jaws. It works when the messages are
closed and you're just arrowing up and down and deleting ones you don't
want, but if the message is open and I'm reading in plain text I can't just
hit the delete key anymore. Is this a new jaws issue or should I perhaps
try to repair o.e. to see if it works better? Thanks for any help.
