Using note pad or word pad won't work as a list would not be alphabetical, and one can not use first letter navigation. I've looked through the menus of Word itself, but am overwhelmed by them. One possibility might be to use a regular address book, However, I'm not familiar with any address book. substituting words for name and address etc. I would be glad to pay some one interested in working with me on this. Many thanks for any thoughts. Bob S.
