  Hi Bob

This is not the answer to your question, but are you aware of the following
German/English dictionary?

  http://pda.leo.org/?lang=en&lp=ende&search=

You can type in an English word and "search" for the German translation; or
you can type in the German word and "ask" for the English translation.

    Hello all,

Very briefly, my project is to set up a file into which I can type a German
word and its English equivalent; then later be able to enter than file and find
a parrticular entry easily. Using note pad or word pad won't work as a list
would not be alphabetical, and one can not use first letter navigation. I've
looked through the menus of Word itself, but am overwhelmed by them. One
possibility might be to use a regular address book, However, I'm not familiar
with any address book.
substituting words for name and address etc.

I would be glad to pay some one interested in working with me on this.
Many thanks for any thoughts.

    Bob S.
