Hi Faith,
In windows live mail 2011, you can press the contacts button by pressing ctrl+3.
To get back to your messages, press the mail button by pressing ctrl+1.

To import the contacts from the contacts folder into windows live mail, you first have to export the contacts folder to a file, and then import that into
windows live mail.

To export the contacts from your contacts folder.
1. Go the the contacts folder.
2. tab to the organize button, which is the first button on the toolbar.
3. press right arrow until you get to the export button, and press it using
spacebar.
4. An export windows contacts dialog opens. Choose the csv format, and press the
export button. A csv wizard opens. follow the instructions a save the file
somewhere.

To import the contacts into window live mail from the csv file.
1. In windows live mail, go to contacts by pressing ctrl+3.
2. Press alt to move to the name of the current tab which will be home.
3. tab to the import menu button, and press it.
4. choose csv on the menu, and a csv import wizard opens, which allows you to
find the file which you've saved previously.

David.

Hi all, Here is my dilemma. When I went from windows vista to windows 7, I
changed computers, as I got a new laptop. I copied my contacts folder from the old computer and put it on the new computer, and I can read it just fine in the windows contacts folder. But my windows live mail doesn’t know it’s there. So it is making a new contacts list, that I can’t seem to get to with jaws. The help files on windows live say that there is a contacts button on the screen which will open your contacts list, and that I can import the other list into this new one. But my jaws won’t locate that button on the screen. My husband can get to it with the mouse, so I thought perhaps the jaws cursor would do it or the invisible cursor, but they won’t. Does anyone know how I can get there, and somehow meld together these two contact lists? Thanks for any help. Faith
