Yes I agree with you to a point but when people from Freedom promise
release dates and enhancements and do not deliver it promotes =
speculation.
For example at the 2002 ACB convension I was told by Eric D that version =
5
would have Citrix support but when it came out of course we know it did =
not.
They instead spent a large variety of time working on this sound scheme
garbage. If we as programmers and data base entry persons are to =
continue
to function in the world we need real meat and potatos fixes not what
freedom has been producing lately.

Dave has now announced, with some perception of certainty, that version =

is coming out in October. Dave, with what authority do you make this=20
pronouncement? Also, how does it matter? Until it's out, we don't have =
it. When it's out, we do. The endless questions and rumors don't alter =
the release in any way. Based on history, we know the next version will =
fix some problems, add some features, and create some new problems. I=20
appreciate that we have no control over people who join the list and =
then=20
ask about new versions, but it would be an enhancement to the quality of =
the list of existing members refrained from discussing useless =
conjecture=20
until it turns from conjecture to certainty.
