configuration manager

I am having a bad time with the configuration manager and outlook express. I
just updated to jaws 4.0.844 So I have to redo my settings. I use advanced
verbocity in outlook express and I like it to just say certain things. I
don't want it to say "outlook express list list view." I just want it to say
outlook express message list 9 items. So when I uncheck different items in
the advance preferences box of outlook express configuration and save my
settings I don't notice the affect right away. It seems that I have to
unload jaws and reload it to see the results of my change. what do you
think.
