try a page refresh before you go into forms mode. I'm having strange

Subject: combo boxes

Hey guys.
Got a very interesting issue that just came up with XP pro, and internet
explorer and jfw 5.
All of a sudden i can't review combo bixes. It's really strange.
I push enter on one and hit alt down arrow, and it says open list box.
When i arow down it says nothing.
Any ideas of what might be going on?
Also when i load IE i hear XP make the click sound. I've heard this means
that something else is loading besides explorer.
Any idea how to make this click sound go away and what it might be loading?
Thanks,
Jed
