You said shift f8 and Sean said f8. Neither seem to work, or if one works, 
nothing is telling me that I'm in a different mode, so I don't know which 
one works. The JAWS help doesn't give me any information about using either 
of those commands, so which one is it? Thanks.

Vicki,

Once you get into Forms Mode, try pressing Shift F8 and then pressing the
Spacebar on the choices you want to select.
