I remember seeing a checkbox that might help in the Tools menu of WORD, in
the Options submenu, but can't recall exactly the sub-submenu.
There is also an option that lets you confirm translation of a file type
into WORD that does the same thing.
I'll go in and try to find them for you.
Does anyone know how to make save a document as a .doc file as the default? It always wants to save it as *.rtf. thanks
