And am I not correct in thinking that there is no difference in the standard and pro versions of JAWS, just that one iwll work with XP Pro and the other wont. Technically JAWS standard would work on both if FS wanted to allow it. They just get JAWS to refuse to run on Pro to make more money.

just has to do with the authorization. Depending on the level certain
features of jaws are turned on.

So your version of jaws has both windows xp home and windows xp pro
capability. Your type of authorization tells jaws whether it is jaws home
or jaws pro

Hi: I have been using jaws for windows with xp home, however, Yesterday I
purchased jaws for xp pro, actually since I had upgrades left on my sma, it costed me an additional $280.00. The sales man indicated that by Wednesday,
I could simply install Jaws 9 on my new computer with xp pro and since
freedom scientific changed my infrmation there, I would be able to use xp
pro. Seems weird to me that they're not sending me a new disk? Does this
sound right? John Fioravanti
