when ever you install a new version of jaws there are shared components
installed in the shared directory. Running a previous version of jaws may not
solved the problem because the earlier version would now be using some of the
updated shared components. I believe when uninstalling the latest version of
jaws you have the option of removing shared components. Removing shared
components can result in jaws not working at all. If you wish to roll back you
would be best removing all versions of jaws and installing the one that worked
best for you.
Running a repair on the earlier version you want to use may work but I do not
know whether running a repair will replace some of the shared components for
the version you are reparing or not so it might not solve your problem and it
might cause problems when you try running the latest version

Subject: can't navigate list views with JFW build 10.0.1154

Hi,

When I updated from JFW build number 10.0.1151 to 10.0.1154, I lost the ability
to navigate message list views in Windows Mail. Also, after trying to navigate
message list views in Windows Mail using build number 10.0.1154, I found I was
also unable to navigate file list views in Explorer. Tried repairing JFW right
from the CD. Also, tried removing 10.0.1154 completely from drive and
re-installing it. Nothing works. The behavior of JFW build
10.0.1154 remains the same. Very sluggish in any case. In order to revert
back to build number 10.0.1151, I had to use system restore and then repair
directly from the JAWS 10 CD. Any thoughts?

Sincerely,
The Constantly BAREFOOTED Ray
