Lists certainly generate low quality responses!

Yes I should have seen that the 64 bit version was only for Vista. But try to think about why FS has not released 64 bit versions earlier, and see what you end up with.

FS puts up a list of officially-supported operating systems. Do you want
a list of unsupported operating systems too? Lt's see. TRSDos, CP/M,
Dos, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, MacOs, ... Windows 7 is not released yet.
The archatecture for Windows 7 could change between now and when it is
released. For FS to say that JAWS 10 now supports an OS whose code has
not yet been locked down would be foolhardy and irresponsible. All FS
can tell you is what is officially supported. The fact that some have
had success with Windows 7 32-bit is not something FS has said.

HI,

It would have been nice to know. I understand that several jaws users is
running Windows 7, but yes nothing was said about the 64 bit version. I
can
probably get the 32 bit version, if there is no plan to get the 64 bit
version to work in the beta period for Windows 7, but I bought a computer
designed to use 64 bit version. The 8 mb ram makes little sense when
running 32 bit OS. I thought the idea with the 64 bit versions of
Freedoms
products, was to support Windows 7 since it will be the first OS from
Microsoft that really focuses on getting the users over to 64 bit.

Well we will see what Freedom is doing in the next betas.
