Try looking in your Event Viewer at around the time you performed the
failed
installation. You may find more information there about what caused this
error.

Subject: cannot install the 64 bit version of JAWS 10
Hi,
I am testing the Windows 7 beta, and today I finally did get the pc up
and
running with Narrator. But of course I want to have JAWS 10 on the pc.
I have downloaded the latest 64 bit jaws 10 posted at Freedom on march
12th.
When I install it or try to, I first of course get the UAC prompt, and
then the following error:
There was an error during the installation process.
And an ok button.
I know other users have been testing 7 for a while, so I wonder what is
going on here. Maybe something with my graphics card? Of course I cannot
remember the model right now, but it should be fine with JAWS, since there
is no longer an FS list of graphics cards that causes problems.
