cannot activate a web link

Hi All,
I am using JFW 7.0 and internet explorer 6. Have any of you had a problem activating a link on a web page? I don't know if it is related to a pop up, or some other setting in Jaws or Windows Explorer. The link activates fine from work using Jaws. I am also using Windows XP home. Can anybody help? Much thanks.
