I bought my Jaws back in the days when it was 2.0) trhough about 5.0 from
an authorized dealer from HumanWare and it worked out great because I could
call him with questions and he could give me simple instructions without
having to go through technical support. How well this will work, of
course, will depend on your local rep.
HumanWare, (which is now Pulse Data) no longer sells Jaws.

Hi All,
Has anyone had any experience purchasing Jaws software from an authorized retailer as opposed to buying Jaws directly from Freedom Scientific? If so, what was your experieince like? Was it better, worse, same? I live in Texas so we only have one authorized Jaws retailer. They're called Crystal Vision. I ask only because I noticed that Freedom Scientific offers the option on their web site of buying their products either directly from them or through a retailer. They even provide a list of authorized vendors. If I can get better service or discounts by doing business with one of these retailers, then I'll probably go with them. Thanks.
