You raise a valid point about the knee-jerk reaction (and the people who
have commented on my speling raise valid points which I interpret as a
need to slow down). Okay, then, let me qualify what I said, taking your
excellent point into account. FS needs to look at what the competition is
doing to gain loyalty among its customers. It then needs to look at the
growing bitterness among its own customer base. It then needs to ask the
question, Why does one strategy work while the other does not?. Once that
question is answered, FS needs to go back to basic and come up with unique
strategies which not only meet, but surpass the goals GW Micro has met,
but with a distinctly FS flavor. The end result, (a) more customer
satisfaction, and (b) a uniquely FS flavor to that customer satisfaction
which will draw new customers and keep them. Same goal, unique path to
that goal, maintained and ultimately increased customer loyalty.
