Good afternoon Judith,

Let me see if I understand what you are looking for before I start trying to
help you.

1. You have a folder in Outlook Express where you have a number of e-mails
stored.
2. Each of these e-mails have at least one music file attached to them.
3. You would like to have the music files stored on your computer somewhere
apart from Outlook Express.

Please let me know if I've got that right and I can try to help.

Everett

  Subject: attachment folder

I have a lot of music that is saved in my music folder. The problem is all
these pieces are still attachments and each time I want to hear it I have to
open the attachment. I was told by the user of another screen reader that I
could create an attachment folder where each attachment will go into the folder
and each song will become detached from the message.
I am using jaws 7.1 and my email client is outlook express.
  1. How do I create an attachment folder?
  2.
How do I store the folder so that attachments can be put in there manually?
I.e. I get the music in my in box. If I want to save it I can do something to
open the attachment folder and put my message with the attachment that just
becomes a detached song or message in it.
I need to know how to create the folder and all the instructions after the
folder is created.
  Thanks, Judith
