Have you looked at 7-zip?

Subject: archiving tools for zip, rar, ... with Jaws

Hi

I have just installed Tugzip to open zip and rar files and also to create
zip archives.

However it seems that Jaws 8 (7 as well) does not read/speak the tugzip
menu.

Any recommendations for an alternative free archiving tool which works well
with Jaws.

Thanks,

Renette
