Bert, I don't have to arrow up again like you, fortunately. I have the same issue with JAWS saying "not selected" when arrowing down a list of messages. If I want to have a message selected, I have to arrow up again. This is indeed not very convenient. Bert From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Alex Stone Sent: 25 March 2010 10:57 To: Alex Stone Subject: an irritating Outlook 2007 problem I have jaws 11 and Outlook 2007 under Windows7. For some reason recently, all the items in any of my mail folders say not selected before the item is read out. This in itself is not a major issue. However the status bar is also not spoken, although the item for the status bar is checked in the view menu. This rather irritatingly means I can't tell how many items there are in each folder. The appliation is maximized, so it's not that. An help would be very gratefully received. Cheers Alex
