Cy,

If MS and FS were to resolve all the issues we experience, I'm sure our wives
would find us plenty to do around the house, to make up for all that free time.

But I'm not worried that we'll ever have that luxury.

  Dave,

  Very astute observation my friend.

I hope that some things are cleared up when service pak 1 comes about. As
part could be a Microbloat problem. I am concerned that *some* of my various
settings seem to change just willy nilly for no apparent reason that I can
find. My Outlook 2007 contact list just sorta goes away from time to time and
it also (not nearly as often) re-appears.

I do not think this is a JAWS problem.

Now, let me ask you a question, what would we worry about if all worked as
advertised? We would be forced to turn our attention to things in the real
world. (LOLLOLLOL)

  Cy,

What I've noticed with MS Outlook (and reported to FS) was that the status
bar get cluttered with pieces of text from the various messages that appear
there. It requires restoring and maximizing the screen to clean this up.
However as soon as a new set of information appears it starts happening again.
This has been going on since MS-Outlook 2007 came aboard and with all versions
of JAWS.

Here's an example of my status bar right now:

1 Itemsms This fThis fol PrSSWaitAll folders are up to date.Trying Connected
to Microsoft Exchangeto MicrosOut of Office

As you can see, it's a mess. If I just restore/maximize I now get:

1 Item All folders are up to date. Connected to Microsoft Exchange Out of
Office

But it will get messed up again real soon.

I just turned off my Out of Office status and now it reads:

1 Item All folders are up WaitAll folders are up to date.MicrosoConnected
to Microsoft Exchange

Anyone else noticed this behavior? It's almost as though the off-screen
object model is not correctly picking up the changes, but since it's actually
on the real screen, it may be a problem with MS-Outlook. Happens with XP Pro,
Any JAWS, Outlook 2007.

And yes, it's been reported to FS long ago with no result.

    Dave
