The check for updates feature doesn't work in Adobe Reader. The latest version is Adobe Reader 10.0, or Adobe Reader X, as it is more commonly called (X is the Roman numeral for 10). This version has been available for more than two months,so it wasn't just released. Hi Dorothy & David; I currently have an update for Adobe Reader showing in my FileHippo update checker. Below is how it reads on the update checker webpage. Adobe Reader 10.0 Installed Version: 9.4.0.195 I haven't installed it yet because I've heard that people have had problems with this updated version. I'm waiting to hear more positive feedback before updating. Take care.
