I looked in the Adobe Reader 7 Help file for guidance on supported
operating systems and found none, but I didn't spend too long looking. I
then went to the Adobe website and used the link from there to download
Adobe Reader. I was asked to say which operating system I was using so I
entered Windows 98 SE. I was then told that the version available for
download was 6.0.1. My conclusion is that either their website is
malfunctioning or Adobe Reader 7 isn't designed to run on 98 SE.
