I know this is clugy but you could save the PDF as a text document and then
bring the text up in Notepad or WordPad and accomplish this.

you do not use the read document feature. instead, you just use jaws the
way you normally would. That is not narrator reading the document although
it sounds like narrator. It is actually the reader doing this. If the
document is in the window, you should be able to read it using up and down
arrow, the jaws functions and to go from page o page, ctrl+page up and ctrl+
page down. I have not found a way to do a say all with jaws and have the
entire document read.

Hi folks,

Gradually winning. f9 brought up menu views with acrobat 6. One prob, using
xp and narrator takes over the function from jaws of reading whole doc out
loud. Narrator stops automatically when close doc. How do I get jaws to take
over?

Thanks,

Tom

Hi. I would go back to the prev version and see if that helps. Jaws might
not have support for it yet being new. The one they have down as being the
most accessible is 5.1
