 Put focus into the System tray and press v.  First letter selection is 
available for these items and even if you can't see it it should still be 
there, so see if this finds it.

It indeed is insert +F11, but no volume button!

No, Insert+F10 brings up the JAWS task list which allows you to switch to or 
minimize running applications. 
Insert+F11 will list the icons in your system tray.
