Actually, depending on the complexity of the document and the conformance rating you wish to achieve with wcag, this will not be enough. Also, you can validate correctly and still produce pages that are not accessible simply by using things like click here and the rong info in alt tags. Accessibility checkers help you with this sort of thing.
