Hi Bob,
Did you make the first line of your file .LOG with LOG all caps? It must be so
in order for it to work.
This is a function built into Notepad so the version of Jaws doesn't make any
difference. I just mentioned it because it is compatible with Jaws and it is
simple and free.

I use Notepad as my diary/daily log software.
If you create a file and place ".LOG" as the first line in the file then
Notepad will automatically drop to the end of the file and insert the current
date and time for you. You could then type your subject and the rest of your
entry.
Very cheap and very simple and Jaws friendly.
