You can anyway use
www.mail2web.com
and there, type in your email address and ISP password, to get to your
email on the server. You can then read messages, select those for
deletion, or delete them all. This can be done from any computer.

Subject: access of e mail from another computer

Hi folks, I will be away for a week or so and wonder if using another
computer I can read my mail. The person I am going to visit is blind and
uses jaws. I have o.e. 5.5, and win xp. Thanks, David
