Hi, all,
I have had absolutely no luck reading pdf files. I have adobe on my
computer, but I either get nothing at all even after waiting for ages for
the transformation or whatever it is to take place, or I get gibberish.
Where is this read aloud feature of adobe found...? Maybe that will work
better?

I'm using jfw 8 and it does that to me too. I usually just give up
and use the read out loud feature in adobe.
If you're going to do that, see about finding some additional sapi 4
or sapi 5 voices or Microsoft Sam will drive you nuts.
